Meet Our Church
The two schools both St Andrew’s and Mary Howard are supported on a weekly basis by the clergy members attending a ‘Collective worship’ session, which last approximately 15 minutes. We discuss with the teachers the curriculum each term and tie into the weekly theme with a story or reading from the bible, the children in Year 6 are encouraged to write or perform drama’s to reflect the story or the theme of the week.
We enjoy the interaction and the children engage well with the questions and answer session, the prayers and the singing.
